FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Exam) is a national level exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) twice in a year in the month of June and December.
FMGE is a licensure exam conducted for candidates who are Citizens of India/ Overseas Citizen of India who possess Medical Degree awarded by a Foreign College or University and are desirous of getting Provisional or Permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Yes, FMGE has currently introduced a Computer Based Examination (CBT) instead of paper and pencil test. This change in the examination process started from june, 2014 administration. Inspite of reading on a paper booklet and answering by using a pencil/pen to darken the ovals on answer sheet, candidates will have to read the questions on computer terminals and clicks on the correct answer at this time.
The main difference is observed on the presentation of the questions.

No, a candidate will have to take the test on a pre-assigned computer at the test venue which is selected by him/her at the registration & scheduling time.
The FMGE is conducted twice a year i.e in the month of June and December. Based on the accessibility of the test centres, a notification is made on NBE website regarding the dates for this examination.

A demo test defines the sample computer-based test. This test is used to make acquainted the candidates with the functionality and navigation of the actual Computer Based test.
This test consists of a tutorial about the various features of the test, for instance, moving between screens, selecting, deselecting, marking and reviewing responses etc., along with some sample questions. Besides, these sample questions do not represent the content of difficulty level of the actual exam.
